For the past seven years, the Society has Acquired and sold limited edition Christmas ornaments that commemorate some aspect of Jackson County History. The first ornament honoring Iowa’s first governor and Jackson County resident, Ansel Briggs, has sold out. The ornament for 2004 isn’t yet in the store but will be posted when distributed. The five ornaments for which there are still supplies are shown below. The ornaments are available at $10.00 each.
