A history of North Bend School, also known as Fairfield #3, located in Fairfield Township, Jackson County, Iowa. recently preserved by the citizens of the Spragueville, Iowa area near which the school sits. The history was written by Scholar Donald Wentworth during the fund raising for the preservation affort. An excellent resource for rural schools in general and North Bend School in particular.
