Our Coming Events

WEEKLY. At the museum at noon on every Tuesday we have a Brown Bag Lunch. Escape the office, bring your own sack lunch, and listen to a special presentation on some aspect of Jackson County history. These are VERY interesting and informative presentations - and the company is great.

MONTHLY. And don’t forget our monthly Team Trivia event which is hosted by the Historical Society at the museum. It’s a lot of fun and there is a chance to win some serious money to boot. You don’t have to be brilliant. Just form a team with a wide spread in the ages of the members - or just show up and we’ll place you with others to form a team. For details go to our home web site at: www.jacksoncoiatrivia.com.

ON-GOING. Most of our energy is directed at the awesome Clinton Engines Development Project that features the restoration of the Clinton Engines Corporation headquarters building in Maquoketa and surrounding 5 acres. If you want to lend a hand or other support, visit our site at www.clintonengines.com for details of the project. All who wish to help are welcome.”

PIONEER DAY CELEBRATION - Held in OCTOBER at the fairgrounds in Maquoketa. from 10 AM to 4 PM on the announced date. Fit fer parents, the kids, the grandkids, and the “ole folks,” too - but pooch has to stay home. For more details click HERE.
