The Mississippi Brought People and HUGE Quantities of Commercial Business

Heavy commercial traffic on the river included the curious who came up-river in this more modern incarnation of the early passenger steamers that brought people from New Orleans, St. Louis, and other places on the river to see the Mississippi all the way to Minneapolis, MN and then back down-river.
